Repo! is so much more fun than Repoman. They took Terrance Zdunich’s idea and repackaged it into something half as interesting and twice as generic.
And, Sorvino+Brightman+Hilton interact BEAUTIFULLY in that film. Don’t let the fact that Paris Hilton is a part of it throw you off; she plays a spoiled rich daddy’s-girl who’s father eventually grows ashamed of her and disowns her. Sound familiar?

Your absolutely right G. It’s a classic rehashed Hollywood idea with no creativity. It is true that everything is borrowed or taken from somewhere else, but there is always an attempt at recombination or improvement. This appears to have none. I will not spend $10, but i will rent it when it comes out just to see if I was right.

hell yeah it was a ripoff. I mean I can understand geting inspired by a book, film, play,OPERA, whatever- and to simply come up with your own adaption, but there is no IMPROVEMENT of the idea, just a lame OBVIOUS plot twist, “that Jude Law needs a new organ.” wow- didnt see that one coming at all. I could be more accepting of the film with Jude, if it were to embrace and explore whole new points of REPO!TGO but, honestly I dont feel the need to waste $10 to go see it, So- why would anyone else?
